Self flux brazing alloy paste is a new brazing material consists of brazing powder assistant, brazing alloy powder with binder as mixed carrier. Due to the addition of flux composition, self flux brazing alloy paste can be used in air environment, eliminating the need for expensive atmosphere protection system. Self flux brazing alloy paste has uniform and accurate composition, stable physical properties, no lodgment , non caking, high utility efficiency, and economical application process. Auto brazing can be supported with self flux brazing alloy paste due to these functions. Compared with the traditional forming self flux material, self flux brazing alloy paste is more conducive to complex parts, large area bonding surface, furnace welding technology of brazing occasions. Together with the dispenser system it can achieve precise coating, material saving, and automation application.
In addition, self flux brazing alloy paste can be customized with the particle size, viscosity, strength, and drying life. Furthermore, by adjusting the ratio of brazing agent powder, self flux brazing alloy paste can be applied under various heating processes. This product is widely used in the industries of automobile parts, instruments, tools, aerospace, medical equipment and so on.
There are three main kinds of self flux brazing alloy paste according to different utilities, namely, silver self flux brazing alloy paste,copper self flux brazing alloy paste,aluminum self flux brazing alloy paste.
B series product is usually designed as powdered metal. It can work as powder or paste for induction heating, flame heating, furnace heating and so on. Especially it can be used together with auto brazing machines.
General Description:
The series of B product is a perfect choice of filler metal paste form for automatic brazing process, in which the system requires several key physical properties of the flux paste, namely, high stability, fine granularity, absolute purity, and the right amount of fluidity. Also, the chemical property of the paste components—filler metal and flux—is required even stronger because of the brazing process control limits. To meet the requirements, we carefully adjusted the components of the B product and tested it on more than ten different kinds of automatic brazing machines and made sure it works on all of them.
Properties:
Low oxygen content, high metal melting fluidity, high long-term flux activity, viscosity about 190 Pa·s, color of black-grey, granularity of 300 screen mesh (about 50um).
Utility:
This series of product is often used in automatic brazing process although it is also able to function in manual brazing operation. It can be injected into automatic brazing machine and transported in tubes with pressed air. The paving needles are normally used to put the paste onto the brazing parts, such as diamond, hard alloy bit, cemented carbide and so on.
Storage:
Storage without direct sunbeam, well ventilation, and avoid contact with children. Do not eat.
Technical info:
This series of brazing paste are on a base of organic fluid solvent with the right features of fluidity, flammability, evaporability, and polarity which combined can make the very fine filler metal powder and flux powder suspend uniformly, perform with high filler metal melting fluidity, excellent chemical-flux activity, and also long-term stability. The filler metal powder is formed with ALD powder metallurgy technology. The organic solvent can be vaporized and decomposed at the temperature of brazing process with no carbon residue, which means the chemical activity of the flux can be well contained. Consequently, the combustion of the organic solvent dose not influence the properties of the metal powder. Furthermore,at the normal storage condition, the fluid hardly vaporizes to cause any kinds of agglomeration, which used to be a big problem for water based paste. Given the fact that the agglomeration is not generated in the system, the series of FBA product can be perfectly used on the tubes of an automatic coating system.
